When Atlanta Academy of Ballet and Dance was in need of a piece for their promotional video, we were excited to aid them. The preview was for an upcoming ballet adaption of a fairy tale, so the piece was designed to be whimsical and fairytale-like.

Scootch’s Theme was inspired by the many trailblazing composers who paved the way for modern game composition. The theme is light-hearted, catchy, and adventurous. It utilizes an 8-bit synth and other retrostyled instruments to set the tone and build to a satisfying conclusion.
“Scoreography,” of my own creation, is a three step compositional process designed for collaboration with choreographers. The goal was to design a process that allowed the choreographer as much creative input as possible, to facilitate writing a piece that truly embodied their vision. In March of 2019, I decided to create a giveaway in which one choreographer would be chosen to have a custom piece of music written for them using the Scoreography process. Gracie Jean Joiner was the winner.
